I and my girlfriend Michelle were at the show in Ashland (at the Britt Festival on June 7, 2008) and what an amazing show it was! All of the guys seemed to be so relaxed and having fun! In particular, Al sitting down on the grass and kicking back and watching while playing his guitar, while the stage hands videoed and took pictures of this was a sure sign that they were just out having fun and playing their music in a relaxed state of mind. It was great to see the four guys together that I personally have been listening to and following, including all of their solo adventures for most of my life !!! Four fantastic musicians totally lit me and my girlfriend up for a couple of hours in a beautiful outdoor setting and it will never be matched. I could only hope that this sparks something between these four awesome musicians to keep this going into more incredible albums and after 25 years, a Return to Forever. Thank you so much Chick, Stanley, Al and Lenny for your passion and dedication to making music come to life and for your incredible performance at the Britt Festival and for your improvisation and everlasting impact on a musical style that most people do not understand or respect. I only wish that I could have had just a moment of any of the four of your time to talk and ask a few questions about your careers and the people that you have had the pleasure to play with, as you all have played with the "who's who" in music. I am a music listener, not a player, and the four of you have taught me to be a GENUINE music listener.
