Just saw their first show in Austin Thurdsay night May 29, and they were fantastic! After 25 years and still play that tight, complexity of the songs, and each member is a total expert in his field. And they played so good together, timing was tight. Al and electric and acoustic guitars was fantastic rifs and so fast, big Stanly in the middle with the big bass holding it all together, and acustic base such a depth of knowledge of the bass, Chick has about 6 keyboards setup, and one piano, plays several at a time, in his unique style. Lenny on the drums, keeping everybody else timed up too. It was a high energy concert for some layed-back expert musicians in layed back Austin ( music capital, lots of music guys in the audiance) It was a great privlige to be there. Music was wonderful, and RTF enjoyed playing quite a lot!
