A fairly young girl next to me at the Houston concert asked if I'd ever seen you. I told her "30 years ago"! Is it better tonight or the same? "They were great then, but I think better...louder for sure!" What a phenomenal concert. I would love to live it over and over again....so you guys had better put out a concert DVD afterward so everyone in the world has an opportunity to see you! Serious!
I told my old friend as we left, that if someone asks how it was how in the world can we share the experience? It's beyond verbal sharing! I still have the music in my head today as I did all evening. We last saw RTF at the Hoffeinz Pavilion in 1977! It was great then but last night was really really something. I guess 30 additional years of experience would make some difference.
We were curious about the audience demographics but it was about as expected. I was most interested in the expressions/interest of the young members, and they were obviously impressed. One father was there with his son who'd just discovered RTF recently.
I noticed RTF didn't play a Dallas tour so I hope they schedule on later in the tour so I might perhaps have the experience all over again.
